Top business tips from a cat #InternationalCatDay

It’s #internationalcatday! I don’t usually need an excuse to post cat photos, but I thought, can cats help your business? So here are three cat traits to help your business:

Agility

Cats are agile! Adopting an agile business model allows you to adapt to changing market pressures and take advantage of emerging trends. How many brands are regretting not doubling down on Facebook and GoogleAds during the honeymoon period a few years ago?

Be Vocal

Our next tip is to be vocal! If you own a cat, you will know when they want something from you (usually around breakfast time!). Document what you are doing day-to-day! In a competitive environment, it’s hard to convey your unique offering to the world. By documenting and simply shouting about the great work you are doing then perhaps you might bag your next client.

Curiosity

Curiosity killed the… no! Contrary to the famous saying, staying curious and trying new things can help your business grow. Research, test, research, and test some more. Wondered about starting a Youtube channel? Research key topics to suit your business, find out what works for others, and post them! Test what resonates with your audience and stay consistent!

Bonus Cat Tip: Leap of faith!

There’s nothing I find more entertaining than my cat Lucy, eyes focussed, coiled and ready to spring from the cabinet to the sofa (a solid 1.2m). You have to believe in yourself and your business! You’ve been honing your craft for years, and when you see an opportunity sometimes you have to take a leap of faith and go for it!

I’d love to hear what your top business tips are and what you have learned from your environment (animal or not!). Let me know what you think.
